Ski Club

The Cobleskill Ski Club was formed in 1986 by then advisor, Linda V. Holmes. The club was created to meet the needs of elementary students who wanted to learn how to ski, but was econmical. At that time, there were only 14 participants. Now we have over 100 participants that encompasses all ages! We travled on Wednesday evenings to Scotch Valley in Stamford, NY. However, we moved to Windham mountain to participate in the Night Club Card Program in 2000 upon Scotch Valley clsoing its lifts.

The club is expanding its skiing and snowboarding possibilities by offering extra trips to surrounding resorts. We make an annual trip to Whiteface in March.
